Answers to the most frequently asked questions about poker at cm8ply
Poker is more than a game of chance. Anyone who has sat at a table knows — it's a game of skill, strategy, and self-discipline. In Malaysia, interest in online poker continues to grow year after year, and cm8ply is a platform that truly understands what local players need. From low-stakes tables for beginners to high-prize tournaments and exclusive VIP tables, cm8ply delivers a complete poker experience all in one trusted platform.
Texas Hold'em remains the most popular poker format in Malaysia and around the world. Its straightforward rules, combined with a depth of strategy that is virtually limitless, make it the top draw for millions of players. At cm8ply, Texas Hold'em tables are available 24 hours a day across a wide range of stakes — from blinds as low as RM 1/RM 2 for players just starting out, to RM 500/RM 1,000 at VIP tables for those who like to play big. The 6-Max format delivers faster, more aggressive action with fewer players at the table, while Full Ring offers a more traditional poker experience with a different strategic dynamic.
For players already comfortable with Hold'em who are ready for a new challenge, Omaha is the natural next step. With four hole cards instead of two, Omaha produces stronger hands overall and more action at every betting round. Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) is especially popular among experienced players thanks to its more dynamic betting structure. cm8ply offers PLO, Omaha Hi-Lo, and 5-Card Omaha tables, backed by an active and healthy player community.
Cm8ply poker tournaments are among the most active in Malaysia. The daily freeroll with a RM 5,000 prize pool — free for all active members — is the perfect starting point for new players who want to experience tournament play without any financial risk. For more serious players, the Main Weekly Tournament every Sunday night with a guaranteed prize pool of RM 50,000 is the headline event. A RM 100 buy-in gives hundreds of players the chance to compete for life-changing prizes. For VIP players, the Exclusive VIP Tournament every Saturday with a guaranteed prize pool of RM 200,000 represents the pinnacle of poker at cm8ply.
Cm8ply rewards loyal players with a transparent and competitive rakeback program. Every time you play at a cash game table, a portion of the rake is returned to you on a weekly basis. The rakeback percentage increases with your VIP tier — starting at 10% for Bronze members and going up to 40% for VIP Diamond members. On top of rakeback, active players are also eligible for weekly poker deposit bonuses, free entry tickets to selected tournaments, and special cashback during promotional events. This means that even on days you don't win, you're still earning a return on every hour you spend at the cm8ply tables.
